Here is an update on what we are doing in class.  We have finished investigating each system individually.  We are almost done with our project on a disease.  Students had to choose a disease linked to one of the systems that we have seen in class. Students were then asked to give a description, identify which system(s) it affects, find symptoms, causes, treatments, who it affects and if it can be prevented. Most students chose Google Slides to present their information.

In the mean time, we have started our first Social Studies unit The Role of the Government and the responsible citizenship. We've looked at 3 types of government ( monarchy, dictatorship, democracy) and have narrowed it down to our democratic government.  Next, we will describe the levels of government ( federal, provincial and municipal) and the services they provide.
